Workhorse Logistics is a small family business founded in 1996 by Bobby Evans Sr. and Monique Evans. The company started with 1 Ten-Wheeler where Bobby Sr. was the driver. The two learned the ins and outs of the trucking industry from Bobby Sr.’s uncle.

In the beginning, Workhorse Logistics was working under other trucking companies’ contracts. Fast forward to 2008 and Workhorse Logistics was awarded its first contract: Exposition Light Rail Transit I with FCI/Fluor Parsons as the prime contractor and Metro as the owner.

Since then, Workhorse Logistics has acquired numerous contracts helping Metro improve Los Angeles’ train infrastructure with the current Crenshaw/LAX Transit Corridor with Walsh/Shea, the Exposition Light Rail Transit II with Skanska, the Regional Connector Transit Corridor with Skanska, and the West Side Purple Line Extension I with Skanska.

Along with helping Metro improve the train infrastructure, Workhorse Logistics has recently secured a contract to widen the I-405 in Orange County with the OC405 Partners as the prime contractor and OCTA as the owner.

Our mission and vision center on helping improve local transportation infrastructures with local trucking companies. We believe a city’s citizens should be a part of their city’s growth.
